Welcome to the Stu Murray Podcast

I'm thrilled to have you as a guest on the Stu Murray Podcast. Please read through the information and follow the steps at the end of this page.

Audience and Format

The core purpose of the Stu Murray Podcast is to engage in honest conversations with inspiring people who are contributing to a more beautiful world. I believe a more beautiful world—filled with abundance, reverence, and possibility—is not only possible, but is at our doorstep. And a new narrative is critical for making this our lived reality.

This is an opportunity to share your story.
Let’s make this conversation inspiring and actionable for the audience - that will come from sharing authentically from the heart. If you’re curious, feel free to take a look at previous episodes.

The format is a free-flow conversation that will revolve around your personal/professional story — very flexible and friendly. The time goal for the entire episode is about 60–90 minutes.

Recording and Technical Details

We’ll be talking over Iris (a high-fidelity video conferencing software) — please join the meeting (sent via email and Google Calendar) at the scheduled time.

Here are some recommendations to ensure we both get the most out of this time together. Please consider:

  • Make sure you’re wearing headphones. Otherwise my voice will leak into your audio track, which isn’t good.

  • Make sure you’re using your laptop or a desktop computer (not a mobile device).

  • A professional microphone is definitely a plus, but you shouldn’t worry if you don’t have one.

  • Try to eliminate noise and distractions. Turn off sounds and notifications on your phone and computer.

  • Have plenty of light - ensure good natural light or use a ring light. Lighting helps the camera since many struggle in low light settings.

  • Try to relax and be yourself: the format is very free-form, friendly, and forgiving.

Your Next Steps

Here’s what you should do next:

  1. Send over a high-resolution headshot (or something similar) of yours. Also, please include your social media handles and bio if you haven't done so already.

  2. Show up in Iris at the scheduled time wearing headphones.
